When to visit

October to March is a great time to visit, the weather is pleasant, with temperatures around 20-32°C, less rainfall, low humidity. It's comfortable for all activities from mountain trekking in Munnar to backwater cruises and beach relaxation.

  • Coolest temperatures and lowest humidity

  • Perfect beach weather and clear mountain views

  • Busiest period with higher prices

Shoulder Season (October-November, March)

  • Excellent weather with fewer crowds

  • Great value for money

  • October: Post-monsoon freshness, lush landscapes

  • March: Warm but still comfortable before summer heat

Summer (April-May)

  • Hot and humid, particularly on the coast

  • Hill stations like Munnar remain pleasant

  • Off-season pricing

Monsoon Season (June-September)

  • Heavy rainfall, especially June - August
